Alright, I think I should mention something that's been bothering me since my pulse about Anyamoore. I've done a post once before about the internet and how it's a little more serious than some would like to give it credit. In that same entry, I mention how despite this being a VIRTUAL forum, we are all very REAL (those of us interacting inside it). We are all still living, breathing entities; but there lies one problem in this virtual world: It's virtual.
What I mean to say is that anyone is anyone and anywhere. You can BE anyone, anytime, anywhere. But some people seriously believe that by masquerading as someone else, and fooling other people, that somehow makes them more... intelligent. Seriously, it's really rather sad to see people gloating over these vacuous "victories". And I'll prove my point: I could very easily strip this site down to the very first entry I ever made, or make everything else private and post this up:
"HA! I fooled you all. I am really a 47 year old female prostitute named Lola. Here are my REAL pics!
Fooled ya!"
And to be honest, unless you absolutely KNEW this was the Spitzer prostitute's picture, I'd've fooled quite a few of you. If not more. Why? Because it's fucking EASY to convince people you're someone over the internet. HELL! It's easy to convince people you're someone else in REAL LIFE! Look at many of the serial killers in our history. Bundy, Gacy, BTK; all of them fooled people into thinking they were good people--and ended up slaughtering many more in the process. So explain to me how fooling people on the internet with a fake persona makes you in any way intelligent?
Our own BrittMiles was fooled by a 36 year-old MARRIED, MALE, CHILD PREDATOR. She's anything but stupid. But this person masqueraded as a young, female lesbian who was single and looking. The act was so convincing; and he managed to even pay off a young girl to pose as him It's. Not. Hard. (oh dear god the innuendos!) So really. People. Children. Grow up a little. Even if this Paul "revelation" turns out to be yet ANOTHER ruse, it only shows that those behind it lack any sort of class, or life. Not only that, but they are quite stupid in assuming that their position grants them any sort of clout; or extension of intellect. It doesn't. If you really have to take the time to make a fake persona; a fake blog; and attempt to mass confuse? You're below the level of pathetic. When your behaviour--your actions--make Kike seem like a prodigy of taste, tact, and intelligence? That's when you know you're a complete failure as a writer, and as a person.
And finally: Antisoccermom. If that's really you as "Paul", where do you get off saying that we should read "REAL" writers (ie. you) when you couldn't get people to come to your site without leeching and whoring off of Xanga? If you're such a great writer, why can't you gain an audience on your own merits? ASM.com doesn't have Metros to whore out on. Maybe that's the real reason you were "successful"? One way or another: you're just another sad pathological liar. And the more you do these stunts, the more you hurt yourself. God help your children. May they never grow up to resemble you in any way.
And to the rest of Xanga: We've come to know and accept that we'll have trolls. But if any of you seriously take the time to stalk others; or make hate blogs designed to hurt and stalk others; you are nothing more than a lifless waste. A sycophantic, idiotic, maloderous loser. And if you take any, ANY pleasure or interest in doing these things: then you really need psychiatric help.

If whoever that is (Paul or ASM or if they're the same person), and they think they're briliant for convincing us that they are someone else, they're sadly mistaken. It doesn't take a genius to lie about their identity and convince someone on the internet. Actually, it's quite easy to do so. For all that you know, I could be a 45 year old guy who is only on here to try and convince teenage girls to meet me so I can rape them.
... But it does take a psychopatic person to try a stunt like that. I mean, when it's like what Vanedave did when he made another account pretending to be Perez Hilton and admitted a few days after, it was funny because we all knew that whoever had made that account wasn't actually Perez... but when you're not joking and you're actually trying to trick people into thinking you're someone else, it's not funny. It just means that you have some serious issues.

I think it is interesting that you mentioned the Ron issue. Ron claimed to be someone of a different sex. That is what Paul is doing. ASM was so outraged over the Ron situation and tried to make a name for herself from it. It is said that Ron sent naked photos to women on xanga. Paul did the same. I think there is an interesting connection between Ron and Paul.
I agree with this post. I think it's turning Xanga into a Soap Opera or it's like telling an orphan "hey we have your parents!" then slapping them with a big " GOTCHA!" later down the road. Seriously people, think about your actions.
I seriously dont know what to believe. It's pretty sad. It's got me thinking my SO is very right about the internet. We just dont know who we are talking to. The pictures they post could be anyone's pictures even the vídeos can be stolen. From the Xangans caught plagiarizing, to the ones who found someone was taking their stories, to the man impersonating a young girl (scary) to a little April's fool joke... I even unsubbed and blocked a girl who claimed to want to be anorexic one day, when that made people mad, the next day she became a prostitute... Very entertaining but weird at the same time. I dont think I will meet anyone offline just yet. Out of the readers I have only one seems 100% genuine and even now I am doubting it all :( I can't believe I was actually upset that someone would take private pictures and distribute them publicly for "revenge" or whatever. So this is only the internet after all...
He talked to me on AIM a couple times, and I have a really hard time believing that he is actually her. If it is actually her, I will be pissed that I was toyed with.
