I recently received word that there will be changes to the rules regarding editing of Featured entries. There will be revisions to the entire plethora of Xister sites in regards to editing and usage of editorial rights! YES! Everyone is going to be treated with the respect we deserve!
This is great news, and a huge step for those of us fighting against the oppressive nature of some of the editorial members of these sites.
I won't fight for it, but I'd still like to try my hand at being a part of the Editorial Staff of HL. I was really considering it before this whole fiasco; and the events kinda fueled that fire.
I hope it's up for consideration!
Though, I get the feeling I won't be Featured anymore.
RECOMMEND THIS ENTRY TO ALL WHO WERE AFFECTED BY THESE EVENTS!

WOOOOOOOOT!!!!!!!
Nicely done =D
mr catalyst for social change, over here.
I'll post details on our editing policies, but in short:
If a question is added to a post, it will be marked as such (e.g. "Datingish asks: _____?")
If a title has to be changed, it will use language drawn exactly from the post itself.
And all posts by Schristian will never be changed in any way whatsoever.
Hooray for peaceful protest!
woops, i just reced a post complaining about this issue. i'll rec this too
I disagree with the idea of plain Xangans like you or I being editors on ish sites. For one, I like to contribute to HL and I do not want you as an editor and having any hand in deciding if my post gets featured. I would think you would not want me doing the same. The editors should be independent, not embroiled in the day to day controversies and personality clashes of Xanga.
@john - Read this comment, please.
honestly, i don't give a crap if ANY of posts get altered to be feature worthy (if one arises in the next few months from my site)
@scrambledmegzntoast@hardestlevel - As long as you could be trusted to separate your personal feelings and your professional ones; I'd have no problems with you running a Xister site. And I view myself the same way. You really don't have much working knowledge of who I am in the professional seat; nor would my listing any previous moderational statusi mean much in this conversation.
I disagree, and that's just where that is.
John messaged me back, so I heard things were in the works. He's a good guy.
@scrambledmegzntoast@hardestlevel - Read.
It's certainly a tricky issue. It is true that we ask our editors to stay "above the fray", so to speak. I'll have to sleep on it.
Speaking of which - night night!
ZZZzzzzz.z....
@Schristian - As I mentioned, we haven't begun to think through the contributor/editor stuff yet! For now, we're gonna focus on getting the relationship between editors and contributors as smooth as possible first.
Thanks again for reaching out earlier!
yay.(:
VICTORY IS YOURS
Whos your best xanga buddy? LOL This is good news.
This is good. Healthkicker mutilated one of my posts once.
@john - Good changes lol
Christ on a bike. They edit posts here too? This shit happened to me once in journalism class. The editors bastardized my column, and published it with my name on it without permission. It still makes my skin crawl.
But hey, progress is progress.
